Squeeze trigger spins for a second then hums. unplug plug back in same results
SOURCE: How do I know if my Directv HR22-100 HD receiver is dead?
one last thing you can do, if it doesnt work the dvr is dead. reset the dvr and wait for the hello screen and then the screen will go black. when it turns black, hold the down arrow (on the front of the dvr) and the record button for at least 5 secs. this will re-format the hard drive. if it doesnt work the dvr is dead
SOURCE: no power
Check the Cable between the plug and the switch for continuity using the ohmeter or continuity tester part of a cheap multimeter. Place one lead on each of the plug contacts in turn, and the other on the other end of that wire. If this is okay, check the switch for continuity by placing each lead of your tester on the in and out contacts and pressing the trigger. If still no joy, check the brushes. If still no joy, check the motor windings for continuity.
SOURCE: machine passed through all cycles until the drain
You will want to check your drain pump filter on this machine.
You
can access the filter by removing the three screws located at the very
bottom of the front panel and pull it out slightly to allow it to drop
off the washer.
With the cover removed you will see the drain pump
in the front of the base of the machine. The pump is equipped with a
pre-filter that can be removed by unscrewing it and pulling it forwards.
Be
aware that any water left in the tub is going to come out to greet you,
so be prepared. I often tip the machine back to limit the amount that
can come out when doing this.
After removing the filter and cleaning
whatever treasures you may find from it, be sure to inspect the opening
that it slides into before re-installing it. Look way in the back of
the opening for any change and pay close attention to the opening on the
right as well for anything caught there.
If for some reason you do
not find anything in this clean out you may have a defective pump on
your hands or an issue with where the washer drains out. I have found
many a laundry tub with a restricted drain that allows the water to be
siphoned right back into the washer after the washer stops pumping.
Good
luck with this!!
Testimonial: "Thanks so much. You were right on. Found a sock blocking the flow. There was some other stuff too, dime, screws and cloth materials. That was too easy. But the pump was also binding up so off to get one tomorrow. Thanks again, this was a big help. "
