All over-the-range microwaves have an automatic fan as a safety feature. This fan automatically turns on if the unit is overheating. This is in addition to the fan switch that manually controls the exhaust fan.
The built-in thermostat causes the exhaust fan to turn on automatically if the temperature around the control panel rises to approximately 150 degrees F. This feature helps protect the electronic components and also helps the cooking area get rid of excess heat. The thermostat resets itself and the fan shuts off when the surface area cools to approximately 150 degrees F or less.

the inside door handle is probably broken. the cable may have popped out but usually its because the clips on the inside door handle break off. luckily you can just replace the handle and not have to get a whole new door panel

NOTE: This
is a multi-solution answer since I don't have all the tech from your question to pinpoint your problem
But the solution is in here generically, if you read and study the solutions very, very carefully.
Sounds like the cold control has stuck . Unplug the two wires from the cold control and plug them together. Turn one wire over and plug it into the other. away from the cold control.
The cold control is the knob in the ref that turns it on and off and has numbers on it. (Thermostat)
If it runs then that cold control (Thernostat) is the problem.
If that doesn't work DO THIS:
The relay on the compressor may need replaced
A relay starts the compressor with a higher voltage and then quickly kicks out
Thats what is happening with yours
Its best for a tech to replace The relay but you can do it
Take your model number to your Local Appliance parts store they will have a diagram
showing you how to install the relay. Its called a hard start relay
also try hooking the two wires together on the cold control to route around the cold control.

SOURCE: The light on a fan
Try changing or testing the batteries in the remote or take the remote out of the fans range. See if this stops the flickering. It can also be the individual bulb. Sometimes the monofillament wires become loosened. It won't hurt the fan to use a broken bulb but it will shorten the life of the bulb. They do get the daylights shook out of them! If all the bulbs flicker it can be the twist connects. These are located under the ceiling plate cover. To check, shut off the fan or turn off the braker switch to make sure you don't get a shock (but I really doubt it). Remove the face plate ceiling screws to expose the wiring. There should be a black and a red cap that holds wires together. Black is ground red is power. One at a time hold the wires of the black cap with one hand and give the cap a gentle clockwise twist with your other hand to see if they need tightening. Repeat with the other colored cap. Push the wires back up inside the housing if needed and replace the cover.
These are the simpelist things to try before calling an expert. I hope this helps?
