I have my tv tore appart so i can read the part number off of my inverter board but i cant figure out which part is the inverter board. how can i determin which part is the inverter board?
Find shop jimmy on line. Then TV parts. Type in model number and actually see parts and numbers. Matt of Martins TV Repair.

It may be worth a shot, but before you give it a go, I'd scrounge up any info you can on your florescent backlight (power rating, input frequency, ect.) Take it out carefully and see if it has any markings.
Then you can use a multimeter to test the output of the MV176.
If you end up ruining the light you have, you could always try and obtain the MV176's bulb and attempt to install it along with the inverter.

The 2 boards are not exactly the same, the 241 does not have the small transformer installed by the first connector (as shown in the picture) and 241 is for AUOPTO LCD panel T370HW01 V.2.
The 411 has the small transformer on the board and it is made for AUOPTO LCD panel T370XW01.
It may mean that the pin-out of the connectors may not be the same. I would be real carefull about using the wrong board.
By the way, the fuses check out OK?

Or www.digikey.com, just make sure to use caps with low ESR, 105c, high ripple current and long life rating such as PANASONIC FM or FC series.

You are right! the inverter is the likely problem, unfortuneately unless you have another screen there is no reliable way of testing, the inverter puts out at least 1000 volts and don't attempt to check with a meter it will probably get damaged.
