Motor carbon brushes burned out and needs to be replaced. You can YouTube the procedure and do it yourself or call a service center and tell them you know precisely was wrong with it and how much to replace the parts and labor. It's a. 45-60 job
good luck

Thanx so much! Are you saying that F43 means replace carbon brushes? What does 45-60 mean-$?

Estimate time to make the repair. If you're handy around the house is not very hard to do it yourself

Thanx for your reply! I reset the machine and did a 15min load, which worked but it didn't drain. Is it really the carbon brushes or something else?

You have a different problem. If the carbon brushes were bad and motor wouldn't function, your problem sounds like a blocked or fail pump.

  • Anonymous Jan 17, 2019

Turns out it was both the carbon brushes and a blocked drain. Thanx so much for all your contributions!

Remove drawer and thoroughly clean, you must have a blockage in it for the water to remain.
Make sure that you clean every piece of it, taking all the components out.
Please leave feedback.

SOURCE: fabric conditioner drawer does not empty

The inlet to the conditioner compartment is probably blocked.
Get a thin piece of flexible wire and make a right angled bend on the end about 1" long, and poke it into all the holes u can see in the top of the dispenser compartment, particularly the ones at the front right side.
This should solve the prob.
Plz rate this solution .
Thanks

SOURCE: My clothe come out very wet at the end of the wash cycle

If the pump is clogged and can't release all the water it won't go into final high spin. Remove lower cover and locate coin catch and unscrew it. Water will come out, so be ready. If it's full of stuff, this is probably the problem.

SOURCE: Fabric softener stays in drawre

We just had a tech come out to fix this problem for us. Essentially, the problem is that the fabric softener builds up and gets clogged. He cleaned out a solid hunk of frabric softener gunk, and suggested that we dilute our fabric softener with water to keep this buildup from happening again.

SOURCE: Hard scratchy towels. Have used all wash cycles, and use fabric softener

have you tried just white vinegar as your rinse aid. Do a full cycle of your washing machine using white vinegar instead of detergent, to clean any residue from pipes, and then in the next wash try white vinegar as your rinse aid.

My Fisher and Paykel Aquasmart is leaving white marks on my clothes. I am using the correct washing liquid, so how can I fix this? I am sick of re-washing half of my clothes

WASH PERFORMANCE INFORMATION
12.1 Creasing
Creasing can be caused by over loading SmartDrive or the dryer. Permanent Press or Delicate
cycles have been designed to minimise creasing as they use a lower spin speed. Do not leave wet
clothes to sit in the washer or laundry basket.
12.2 Soiling
Soiling is the result of insufficient detergent for the load. White clothes are better washed
separately. Separate lightly and heavily soiled items, as clothes can pick up soil from dirty wash
water. Cold water below 20oC does not wash effectively. Select the wash temperature according
to soil type. For example, blood and mud are better washed in cold water, while sweat and oil
based soil wash better in warmer water. Loads made up of articles of varying sizes will wash
better (e.g. full loads of sheets may not wash that well). Hard water requires more detergent than
soft water.
12.3 Linting
Wash lint givers (eg. towels, flannelette sheets) separately from lint collectors (eg. synthetic
fabrics). Over loading SmartDrive can increase the likelihood of linting. Insufficient detergent for
the load can increase linting as there will not be enough detergent to hold the lint in suspension.
Over drying synthetic fabrics in a dryer can cause a build-up of static electricity and result in the
fabrics attracting lint.
12.4 Detergent Residue
Over loading SmartDrive can result in detergent residue being caught in the creases of the
fabrics. If this occurs, decrease the load size. Some detergents need to be pre-dissolved. Check
the instructions for the detergent. Cold ambient temperatures, cold washes or short agitation times
may not let the detergent dissolve properly. In these cases pre-dissolve the detergent.
Overdosing of detergent can also cause residue when foam breaks down and will show as white
specs on the clothing. Poor quality detergents can result in residue.
12.5 Black Marks on Clothes
A build up caused by the interaction of fabric softener and detergent (scrud) can flake off and mark
clothes. Do not use too much fabric softener, maximum 75cc. If this is a problem, it is
recommended that SmartDrive is periodically filled with hot water, plus 1-2 cups of dishwasher
powder and left to soak.
12.6 Grey Marks on Clothes
Not enough detergent for the amount of soil on the clothes can result in grey marks on clothes. If
this is a problem it is recommended that SmartDrive is periodically filled with hot water, plus
detergent and left to soak.
12.7 Dye Transfer
Wash and dry non-colourfast clothes separately. Non colourfast clothes left sitting in a washer or
laundry basket can transfer dye to other clothes.
12.8 Tangling
Washing with too much water (i.e. under loading) can cause the clothes to tangle around each
other. Do not load SmartDrive by wrapping clothes around the agitator.

I have front loader washing machine and the rubber has got mould and having difficulty in removing the black mould

  • Saturate an old cloth with white vinegar. Alternatively, you might use petroleum jelly on the cloth to remove the mold.Pull the gasket out gently with your hands to reveal the mold and mildew buildup inside the folds of the gasket.Wipe the mold away from the gasket with the cloth. Continue working to wipe away all mold from the folds of the rubber gasket.Dry the folds of the gasket with a dry cloth when you finish removing the mold.Repeat this procedure at least once per month to prevent mold and mildew from forming. If you notice mold occurring more frequently, clean it off when you see it.

  • Tips for Preventing Mold & Smelly Problems:
    • Always leave the door and dispenser unit slightly ajar after the laundry is done. Front-load washers and the detergent/softener dispenser drawer must dry out.
    • Never leave a wet washload in the washer overnight; remove it when the washing cycle is complete and leave the door open.
    • After a load is done, always rotate the drum with your hand to see and remove all items. Some could be sticking to top or sides of the washer drum.
    • Use softener sheets in the dryer instead of liquid softeners in the washer.
    • Liquid detergents may leave less residue than powdered formulas which may not dissolve properly.
    • Use less than the recommended detergent level for your load. Too much detergent can cause a residue build up. Experiment until you find a minimum measurement that delivers a clean wash. This is also a money saver.
    • Occasionally wash some loads such as whites, linen and towels in warm or hot water to help flush out wash residue.
    • Always clean your washer as per your product manual. High efficiency front-load models have a cleaning cycle and it's imperative that you periodically run this cycle as directed.
    • Check the gasket just inside the door opening and remove any visible debris. You can also wipe it to speed the drying process.
    • Always use HE detergents with high efficiency front-load washers. Specially marked HE laundry detergent is low sudsing and is recommended for these low-water washers.
    • If this advice was helpful a vote with the thumbs up would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Conditioner drawer not emptying

Do you use a thicker type of softener? When I had this problem with my washer I added water to the softener to thin it out, as it just seems like it leaves a build up that clogs repeatedly otherwise. hope that helps

Creda Washing Machine Detergent Dispenser not emptying

    does the detergent get wet?
may be the blue trap door that is behind the detergent in the drawer is set for liquid detergent ie 'closed' and needs to be set to open to allow the powder past. or the holes above the detergent section where the waster comes out are blocked so water goes in another route.
you could always put the powder straight in with the wash to get yourself out of trouble.

    Bosch conditioner drawer

This problem is caused by the compartment not filling up sufficiently to start the siphon action. First ensure that the drawer is clean, especially the siphon tube then, with the drawer removed, check the top of the compartment. You will find various holes that let in the water, make sure these are clean and not blocked with mould. Clean out with mould remover and wire then run a cycle with no washing or softener/detergent in the machine.
