Hello, Colleen -

I have no idea what "the plastic part" means for your Everstar blender. I don't even know the model number for your Everstar blender.

I have searched online to find a source or sources for Everstar blender replacement parts, but so far have not found any.

It seems the Everstar brand name for blenders was owned by Homer TLC, which also owns the trademark for Home Depot. I do not find that Everstar blenders are still manufactured for sale.

You may wish to check on the website of one or more online resellers: eBay, LetGo, etc. to find the same model of blender as yours for sale, so that you can cannibalize it for parts.

Best wishes.

Testimonial: "Thank you..It was given to me by my daughter who moved to Singapore used and I had no idea where it came from. I will just toss it and purchase a new one. Thank you"

Hello, again, Colleen - I hope where you reside there is an electronics recycling program where you can take the Everstar blender and deposit it for recycling, and not just "toss it" into the trash. :)

Changing the coupler

Lever it off with a screwdriver, it is aluminium and the threads on the ring will break away. Pick them out of the thread on the motor shaft and screw on a new coupling, it will be left hand thread.

Broken blade housing

I have the whole blender. White with a red glass pitcher. I have only used it twice. For ice. What would you pay for the whole blender? You would then have a back up of it all. Works fine. Just too heavy for me.

I broke something when I was putting the jar on my bosch MMB1000 blender and then it didn't start after that. I thought that I had broken the safety and when I open it up I saw a small broken plastic thing...

Without seeing the part that is broken it is hard to say what exactly the problem is. But it sounds like it is one of the safeties. Look on the bottom of the jar to see if you can see where the plastic broke off of. If not then the plastic is probably the safety inside of the lower part of the unit.

I can no longer unscrew the plastic part that the glass container fits into on my old Waring 18BL28 blender. It is a simple 10 speed that works perfectly.

Something sticky is in the threads... Try very hot water in the sink as a start, while boiling some water on your stove. With the glass and plastic preheated, install them to the blender base which must be unplugged for the rest of this adventure. Pour the boiling water in, only to about 1/3 of capacity. Install the top cover to protect from the hot water. Hold the glass by the handle and with a rubber glove on the opposite corner or pour spout side. Hold high to avoid the heat from the water. Have a large burly man hold the blender base so that you may twist the glass container counter-clockwise. Stop as soon as it starts to turn the plastic ring off...and go the the sink... Continue after pouring out the hot water. Remember that his procedure is likely to cause broken glass or broken plastic and exposure to scalding hot water. If those risks are acceptable you should still take precautions to protect your flesh. Otherwise order a replacement ring and pitcher for the blender.

Broken glass jug on kitchenaid blender model 5ksb2aer4

Look at the underside of the blade shaft. The metal wing nut on the end of the shaft secures the blade assembly to cream coloured plastic blade base. The wing nut also transmits the drive from the rubber coupling on your blender to the blade shaft. The wing nut has a LEFT HAND thread.
The left hand thread ensures the blade assembly does not unscrew during normal blender use.

Firstly disassemble the blender blade assembly. Place a folded tea towel over the blades and hold the blades firmly. If you do not use a tea towel you may cut yourself.

Grip the wing nut with your other hand and unscrew it CLOCKWISE.
Remove the wing nut. You can now remove the blade from the plastic base.

Put the blade assembly in the new jug and offer up the plastic base from under the jug so that the blade shaft protudes enough for you to install the wing nut.

Screw the wing nut ANTI-CLOCKWISE to secure the blades to the plastic base.

Do not over tighten the wing nut; you may have to replace your jug again at some point.

Broken gear on BFP-703 base

The drive is replacable and available from Cuisinart, you will have to sign a waver to get the part. the drive is screwed onto the motor shaft with reverse threads. the plastic drive will have to be completely broken off of the unit to expose a brass"nut" which was internal to the drive. depending upon your model you may have to remove the lower half of the base unit to access the lower part of the motor shaft. there will be a slot in the end of the shaft for a large flat blade screwdriver. this is used to hold the shaft still while turning the drive "nut" with a vice grip pliar or similar. the new drive is just threaded onto the shaft and normal operation tightens it.
