Check engine code 0402 off and on
Pretty much the only thing that goes wrong with a converter is that it gets clogged or, if it's a honeycomb type, they sometimes break up. In either case, it will need to be replaced. Keep the old one and recycle it. Scrappers pay good money for them for the platinum and palladium in them. Good luck.

Check for plugged exhaust system. If plugged will cause overheating and misfiring of all cylinders.

cheapest thing is get new gas cap, next make sure no vacuum leaks anywhere, the you may need to replace evap purge valve. these systems are junk on all cars and will make you spend lots of money.

This trouble code is Evap Purge System Performance fault. 1) Check for a loose or missing fuel cap. 2) Check for a damaged or missing fuel cap seal. Recheck for other trouble codes. This fault wont cause the stumblering problem. It turns on the MIL lamp to say there leak in the EVAP system.

You may have a defective coolant or air temp sensor. These need to be accurate in order for some of the monitors to run. Your going to need a diagnostic scanner to see the data so you can determine what is wrong.
If you had replaced or unhooked the battery just pryor to geting the smog then thats the problem. Just drive the truck for a couple days and you should be fine.
You will still pass the test if you still have 2 monitors not set. California allows that. 3 fail
