Hi I just purchased a Luxor Smart TV model number is LUX0155005/01 It is connected to the internet and goes onto the YouTube and Netflix app without a problem but I literally have to wait an hour for this thing to play any videos on YouTube and on Netflix it gets stuck on 25%, 80% or 98% for an hour before it actually plays. All I get is this black screen you can see below. Can anyone help me please I really regret getting this TV.

This happens every time I turn the tv on. Also the remote seems to stop working on Netflix when I am browsing through programmes. This is such a headache. Next time just got with well known brands lol

All tv are not made the same.
Yes your internet speeds are important sometimes the TV's source modem is not made to happen high speed or the buffer between the modem and the output module is small, which means that there will be a maximum size file you can play since Netflix is mostly hd format you will continue having this issue.
I would suggest you use a laptop to connect to hdmi to tv as source and stream it through from the laptop.
If the problem continues therefore you have ruled out the tv issue and what remains is the internet.

It's not the TV. It's almost certainly your internet download speed. You need at least 10MBps for online streamers like Netflix.

Can't connect to Netflix with my Element smart TV

Where your Smart TV already has an app in its app pages, start that app, log onto your Netflix account (which you need to pay for) and watch away.
If your TV does not have a Netflix app, give Player a try at http://www.Playora.com - this is an app that runs on a PC and lets you open content on the screen of the PC and toss it to a lot of different Smart TVs (Samsung, Panasonic, LG, Sony, JVC, etc.). Ithing, It will be helpful for you.

How do I connect by TV to Netflix

Hi,

If it's a smart tv with the app already installed all you have to do is connect it to the internet and loginto your netflix account on the app.

If it's an older tv without apps but has a HDMI port you can buy something like the amazon fire stick and turn an old tv into a smart tv.

Hope this helps.

Luxor TV won't connect to preset tv channel apps. It keeps saying it needs to be connected to an aerial but it shouldn't because these apps should work through the wifi. Help please?

Did you get any advice elsewhere. My Luxor tv is doing the same thing. I don't have aerial input. Hence why I bought a smart tv. Netflix and YouTube are fine.

Hello friend...

On these devices, the Netflix App can be accessed via VIERA Connect or the Netflix button on your remote control. If your Panasonic Smart Device does not have the Netflix App, it can be downloaded onto any internet connected external device (smartphone, tablet, gaming console).
