Hence the reason, it might be prompting you for frequent printhead cleaning.
I suggest you find an answer pretty quickly as your printer uses its own ink to clean the heads. An expensive process.

remove the black ink unplug the unit then clean the contact in the black cartridge inside the printer carriage then replace the black ink again

Try to rebrick your printer. Pull out power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.
Also, make sure your printer is updated. Please visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark Pinnacle Pro901 Firmware Update.
