Question about Epson Office Equipment & Supplies
First, try performing the diagnostics below to rectify the issue.
1) Check if you have set the paper settings compatible with the paper that you have placed.
2) Perform a printhead nozzle check to verify if any of the nozzles are clogged. Clean the printhead if required.
3) By mistake, if you have enabled the Skip Blank Page option in your printer software settings, disable it.

I'm not certain that I can help, but I am familiar with the Epson does things with their printers and all-in-ones. The thing is, printers are pretty cheap to buy. Where these companies make lotsa bucks is in the aftermarket products, which in this case is printer ink. Therefore, these printers are designed to now allow you to do much of anything with all the ink cartridges installed. I can certainly understand your frustration, and if I am wrong about this, I would like someone who considers themselves an "expert" to tell me so. Good luck, and my advice would be, next time don't buy an Epson. They are the worst company for high-priced ink, and if you use anything except Epson brand ink, you void the warranty. Sucks!

The simplest way to do this is to grab a copy of the A10_IPR utility that Epson distribute to their customers...
The utility is available to North American customers if you register no this site page http://www.epson.com/ipr/
The utility is also know to be available in the wild if you search for "waste ink ipr".
Just remember to scan any download using a virus and malware scanner before you attempt to use it as some utilities contain trojans or similar nasties.
Hope that helps.
