SOURCE: delta kitchen faucet mixed spray...diverter problem???

No a pull out sprayer problem is different.

First try this. Pull out the sprayer and remove from hose by turning nut that connects sprayer to hose. If you can get someone to help you it would be nice since the hose can go down into the faucet and might be trouble to retrieve. Look in the connection on the sprayer where the hose connects and look at the screen. If the screen is plugged or dirty clean and reinsert. If you can't clean it replace it. If this isn't working go to the next suggestion below.

In the spray head of the faucet there is a build up of deposits from use and or water hardness. Here is the link to the Delta site.

Delta Faucets

If you find you faucet model order a new spray head. Once these go bad they usually need replacing.

Hope this helps and please rate this!

SOURCE: delta diverted spout is stuck! Can't pull it down

You probably have lime deposits built up which won't allow you to pull it down anymore. Try spraying lime away on it and use an onld toothbrush and work it up in there. If this doesn't work, you can replace the spout with a generic one. The spout should just twist off. Sometimes they can be stubborn. Hopefully this helps.

Turn off water supply and use allen wrench to remove handle then remove bonnet nut then remove internal parts replacement kits available at most lowe's and other home improvement or hardware store or plumbing supply stores take care to document how everything is removed so you can reinstall exactly how it came out.

SOURCE: Can the pull-down diverter on a Delta RP17454 be repaired? Does the spring-loaded diverter screw on, or is it glued from the factory?

Probably needs a new washer.

Can I clean tub spout diverter, does it unscrew so I can clean aerator?

Even if you unscrew your diverter, there isn't anything you can do to make it perform any better. It's best to replace your tub spout/diverter combo. I imagine your getting water out of the spout when in shower mode......they do wear out when used a lot. If you decide to change your spout, write back and I can guide you through the process of ID and removal/replacement procedure. But if your not a pretty good handy person, call your plumber to do it 4 u. He would appreciate your business. Good luck with your problem and always know where and how to turn your house water supply off before attempting a plumbing repair. :-)

Water quits flowing

There is a little popper in the spout area. You need to remove the top handle and slide the spout off. The popper is in the main tube coming up. It.s a standard part at most big box hardware stores and it costs less than $10.

My Delta Model 174 sputters air when turned on and leaks from the base of the spout. What causes this?

Air is getting into your water line, though I can't imagine how since it's a closed system. The only time this might occur is if the water main was shut off and all the water was drained from the lines. This is only necessary if your doing some plumbing work.

Delta Faucet (Series 2467) Sprayer doesn't work

Yes, the diverter assembly is probably corroded or clogged shut. Garunteed its the problem on a 10 year old delta kitchn faucet. The diverter routes water from the spout to the sprayer when the sprayer is triggered.

Kitchen spray not working completely.

Make sure the sprayer is clean of debris. IF YOU HAVE HARD WATER, soak in CLR overnight. If sprayer is clear then its the diverter which is more indepth thru the stem.
