depends on what router was stolen. If you bought it yourself and it plugs into the main router your out of luck. If it was rented from the cable company it was subscribed and they wont be able to use it and call the cable or phone company and report it as stolen right away. if your on a budget the thrift store or pawn shop usually has used routers for cheap. either way routers dont store information just pass it through theres no way they can get any personal information out of a router because its just a gateway.
