My advice is to refrain from contacting them as they might be busy dealing with the situation at hand .
my guess is when the fire is put out then it would have to be monitored for up to 3 days in case the wind picks up and the wild fire restarts.
On top of this is the time it will take for all the trees close to the highway to be chainsawed down to prevent them from falling onto the highway and falling on vehicles and to clear the road of debris.
I think it would be up to a week based on having experienced bush fires in Australia ithrough a highway and how long it can take to make a highway safe to use again.
