Water level switch or water valve problem depending on what you have to do to get water to stop. If only way us cutting off faucet, then water valve is defective.

SOURCE: cold water will not run into washer, but drips when washer is off

Take the hose off the back of the washer and remove the screen and you will find it to full of sediment. Clean it out and try again.

My admiral atw4475xq washer, the cold water runs continously will not cut off.

There is an electric-powered water cut-off valve, usually top left - under the top of the machine - which must be stuck open; it is replaceable.

Cold water won't stop before rinse cycle

if it fails to stop running only at the rinse part of the cycle it is probably in the timer as the solenoid valve has to cut the water off when the washer fills for the wash cycle too. fills for wash cycle and cuts off water, washes and drains, refills for rinse cycle and water just keeps running? does this every time you run it? that's in the timer. bad solenoid (water inlet valve) would keep running even on wash fill up. hope this helps.

Atw4475xq admiral

It's likely some sediment was disturbed during the valve replacement and clogged a screen in the washer valve. Turn off the water and remove the cold hose from the back of the washer. Just inside the threads you'll find a fine screen that you'll want to remove and clean (flush with water). You might also find a screen in the hose washer on the supply valve end of the hose. Check for that too.

Washer wont fill up during rinse cycle

all rinse cycles are filled with cold water to keep the clothes from wrinkling.set up the washer to run with just cold water.start it,if no water comes into washer, shut down your house water valve that fills the washer, take off the cold water hose, stick it in the washer or if there's a sink or where ever and turn on the water,if water comes out of the hose then you need a new water valve on the washer
