While not the same model, the manufacturer recommends turning the gas off at the stove and manually turn the gas off at the source (tank). Here is a link to the instrucitons for a similar model.

SOURCE: ritetemp propane log

your pilot assy is clogged, disassemble the pilot assy completely and inspect the orifice. there should be a tiny pinhole in the end of the orifice, clean well with small wire brush and reassemble, don't forget to clean the thermocouple while you have the assy out.

SOURCE: Natural Gas to Propane for Ge xl44 Gas range

The kit is located at the rear of the range right near the gas valve, there are probably 5 spuds and an extender for the large burner, directions are with the range. For the bake and broil you will need to tighten the brass orifice nuts down as tight as possible, also the brass nut on the gas valve needs to be reversed
your local LP dealer should be able to do this for you if you are uncomfortable doing it yourself.

SOURCE: 150,000 BTU propane Reddy Heater shuts off after ignition

Is there a frost line on your LP tank, if so you may need to replace the tank with a larger tank or refill your tank. This can happen if the tank your using is too low or too small (use 100 lb tank or greater). If there is no frost line it may be an issue with the thermocouple. The manufacturer offers a service manual and owner's manuals on there site. This should assist you... www.desatech.com Thank you

SOURCE: gas stove need to switch to propane

Hi,

Hotpoint supplies the orifices and instructions with each range for converting. It is just that it is hidden, they attach it to the gas regulator. The regulator is near the bottom back typically. Here is a cut out from your use and care manual.

CONVERTING TO LP GAS (or converting
back to natural gas from LP)
This range leaves the factory set for use with natural
gas. If you want to convert to LP gas, the conversion
must be performed by a qualified LP gas installer.
The conversion instructions and LP orifices can be found
attached to the range next to the pressure regulator.
Keep these instructions and the orifices in case you want
to convert back to natural gas.

I am looking for the safety switch on a wonderfire 2570 direct vent free standing fire place to see if it needs to be reset? but can't find a parts diagram

'm sorry, I couldn't find a parts diagram specifically for the Wonderfire 2570 direct vent free standing fireplace. However, safety switches in fireplaces are typically located in the control compartment. The safety switch may be a thermal switch or a microswitch, and its purpose is to shut off the gas valve or blower motor in the event of an overheat condition or other safety issue.
If you suspect that the safety switch needs to be reset, you may want to consult the owner's manual for your fireplace, as it may contain instructions on how to reset the safety switch.

I have a 1993 fleetwood bounder i have had it for two months. i just got around to the propane appliances but there is no propane flowing to the stove or the furnace. the tank is turned all the way on but...

Ok, Lets start at the beginning. First make sure there is propane in the tanks! Gas can leak rom these tanks sometimes at a very small rate and over time they can go empty if there is a loose fitting somewhere. When you turn on the stove is there any air or hissing sounds coming from the burners? Air can get in the lines and when you turn the gas on, you get nothing but air for several seconds till the air bleeds out then you get the gas. Hold a lit match next to the burner and watch to see if there is any movement to the flame on the match, movement would let you know if there is any air coming from the burner, hold it there for a few seconds and see if any gas comes thru and this will then lite the burner. I always have to turn my stove on for a while to get gas thru the lines so the appliances work after the tanks have been filled or after it sits for a while. Once you get gas thru to the stove you can try your heater, this may also take sewveral tries till all the air is purged from the lines so don't get frustrated, sometimes this can take a while! Then the next thing is the water heater, the gas valve on these has a selection for pilot lite, turn the red knob so thet the cut out in the knob lines up with the gas valve and you have to push and hold this down for a minut or longer to get gas to the burner. Once the burner lights hold the pilot knob down for another minute to make sure all the air is out of the system. Once these are done you should be good to go till next time your tank runs dry and has to be filled. If you determine there is gas in the tank but it is not flowing to the appliances, double check all the shut off valves. The tank should have a diagram on the valve to let you know which way it turns for on and off. Do you have a built in tank on this model? If you have the two removable tank set up, make sure the auto switching valve is set correctly and you have it on to the tank that is full. If you still aren't getting gas, try calling an RV dealer and ask them if there is another valve somewhere that might need to be turned on. There migt be a shut off in the line somewhere, but this is not common.

I need tips on installing a new burner plate and gasket on a Wonderfire 2610 gas heater

I have a Wonderfire gas stove and it's easy to replace the burner plate and gasket. Hardest thing is getting the bolts out. Use a vise grips and you won't strip them. I don't use any adhesive on the gasket just clean everything off and replace.

How do you start the oven on a Hardwick propane range?

The bottom part of the stove in the front has a drawer you pull out which has a broiler tray located there. You should be able to fold the door down and use a flash light to look inside . You will find a pilot light set-up there.
The stove I have has the pilot gas on all the time, so as soon as you turn on the gas to the range, the pilot gas is open to atmosphere.
I just light a match and reach in to where the gas piping can be seen and the pilot flame will light.
There is only a small amount of gas coming from the pilot orifice, so there isn't any danger lighting it when the gas is first turned on at the tank.
In fact you may have to wait a few minutes for it to light at first because the propane line maybe full of air. I usually light the top burners of the stove first and by that time the pilot gas for the oven is ok to light.

Propane coversion of kenmore 790 gas range

Most gas stoves are shipped for natural gas .You need to check the orifice on each burner to see if they are for natural gas or propane. If you ordered propane the stove should have been shipped with the orifices. They may be in a bag with your stove documents.

Gas Odor and Oven Heating

The gas valve may be failing. The 'whooshing sound' you hear may be the gas valve closing too slowly when the oven cycles off or the cavity is filling with gas and igniting when the oven cycles on. The gas you smell may be an indication that the valve is not closing completely. This can be potentially dangerous if the oven fills with gas then ignites. I would not operate the stove any longer and shut off the gas to the stove.

Gas stove

Make sure the fitting on the tank where your line comes from isn't freezing up. I don't know about large propane tanks but they might have the new safety valve in the shut off valve in your tank as well. Trying shutting off or if you don't feel safe maybe somebody else shut the valve off then reopening it.
