Since you are getting the signal from the satellite, leave the satellite receiver ON and press input on the TV buttons until you get the signal back, wait 2 seconds after pressing the input button. Make sure the TV is on channel 3 if you are using the antenna input.

You do not need to buy anything, just look at the owner manual, or look at yor remote control for the button with 'DISPLAY', 'ASPECT', 'ZOOM' for adjusting the aspect ratio.

One thing to remember is that if the video was made for 4:3 old TV format, when you expand it to fill 16:9 screen, people will loof short and fat.
