Pull out the power supply board if you can. Look under the board. Inspect any and all solder on pins. Look for cracked rings around solder connections. Try that and contact me. Matt of Martins TV Repair.

When you say that, this must be an older model LCD TV. In fact one of the best in my operation. Your power supply has two bad capacitors. I do not know your TV model number or I could give the correct values of capacitors. But actually an easy fix. Any hobbiest can fix this for you. Thanks for asking, Matt of Martins TV Repair.

Samsung takes a while to turn on, even factory reset didn't help.

Assuming is always a big problem with diagnosing television issues. Voltage (power board) doesn't make televisions turn on slow. Voltage is there or it isn't. Voltage (surprisingly) in televisions doesn't make the display dim, other components do.

Have a read of this. It is the best advice.

Samsung dlp slow to light up when first turned on

if your TV is slow to light up when first turned on its more then likely your bulb. When your bulb start to go bad it will take the TV longer to come on. Try using the bright feature in the menu. If that brightens your TV up then its your lamp going bad.

Slow to show picture after turning tv on. Takes

Look for bad caps (leaking/bulging top) in the power supply module. Make sure to replace them with good quality caps such as PANASONIC FM/FC series.

I need help programing my rca remote to a samsung television

Hi

Ideally I need you to clarify a few details on your exact RCA remote model and number and also whether this is a Samsung TV or other unit like a DVD etc.... that you wish to program

However assuming it is a Samsung TV here is a list of the common RCA codes for this TV. You will need to go through each one individually until you find one that works.

Code 1004 for Samsung TV Code 1005 for Samsung TV Code 1006 for Samsung TV Code 1012 for Samsung TV Code 1013 for Samsung TV Code 1015 for Samsung TV Code 1017 for Samsung TV Code 1019 for Samsung TV Code 1082 for Samsung TV Code 1104 for Samsung TV Code 1105 for Samsung TV Code 1106 for Samsung TV Code 1171 for Samsung TV Code 1172 for Samsung TV

Hope this helps. If so please do rate my answer.

Otherwise please post up additional details as outlined and I will see what I can find.

Many Thanks.
