Powertech generator MG4502 over reving nothing plugged in

First, check the rod and spring to the carb are connected and looking healthy. If not replace.

If all is in good shape I would next check the carb float. This can happen when the Carb Float Needle gets stuck and is easy to rectify.
If you watch this video on YouTube it will show you how to free up the Float Needle. It is the same procedure on all Carbs:

How do I replace the map sensor on 2006 Jeep commander

if it has one, at all, (and not mAF)
you unbolt it.
if it has hose that too comes off (if not a direct intake mounted type.
it will have a 3 pin connector and will need to come off first
all conn. on cars have locks do not force them,
no engine option stated, so no real list of exact steps. possible

the engine line up is.

  1. 3.0 L OM642 V6 (turbocharged diesel)
  2. 3.7 L PowerTech V6 (gasoline)
  3. 4.7 L PowerTech V8 (gasoline / E85)
  4. 5.7 L Hemi V8 (gasoline) (may have a MAF?)

so what engine?, its an engine question and fist just is to know what is there....

Fuel cutoff

what makes you think that.
or what tests , prove that.
btw, if the PCM thinks (by any means) that SPARK is bad, it will in fact cut all fuel. (no crash and burn like on TV @!)
so spark is first. not fuel.

see why? and the engine cant use fuel if spark is dead.so 2 reasons.
this is a jeep Grand Cherokee, commander,
and what engine, they have many.
always post engine then ask questions.
no body does, but do. please.

here is the list. 11 used all years, but less in 2006 USA.
is car A USA car>?

The Jeep Commander offered a base V6 engine with an optional 4.7 L Magnum and 5.7 L Hemi V8:
In Europe and certain other markets like Chile, South Africa, and South Korea, the Commander offers a V6 Diesel engine developed by DaimlerChrysler:

Fuel dripping from fuel rail. How to change o-rings

It is pretty standard on most vehicles it just depends on how many O-rings here is a picture an O ring on an injector. You can take a pick tool to remove the ring. The injectors should come out with some type of clip.

You can use the below just - the changing of the injectors. :)

Step1 Determine which fuel injector your Jeep Grand Cherokee will need. This depends not only on the make and model, but also the engine size. Models made from 1999 to 2004 may be equipped with a 2.7L OM647, 3.1L 531, 4.0L PowerTech, or 4.7L PowerTech engine. Models made after this date can have a 3.0L OM642, 3.7L PowerTech, 4.7L PowerTech, 5.7L Hemi or 6.1L Hemi. Step2 Relieve fuel system pressure and disconnect the negative battery cable with a socket wrench. Remove the air intake assembly and unplug the electrical connectors for the alternator. Step3 Detach the fuel lines from the fuel injectors. Remove the vacuum hoses and electrical connectors from the throttle body with a socket wrench. Step4 Unplug the electrical connectors for the fuel injectors, manifold absolute pressure sensor and intake air temperature sensor. Disconnect the ignition coils and mounting bolts for the fuel supply manifold with a socket wrench. This will allow you to remove the manifold with the injectors still attached. Discard the old O-rings. Step5 Install the new fuel injectors by reversing the removal procedure. Use a torque wrench to tighten the mounting bolts for the fuel supply manifold to 20 foot pounds. Step6 Start the engine and check for leaks.
