I am not aware of any manet thing on a garage door opener so you are going to have to give some more information.
What he is referring to is the magnetic receiver for the battery operated wall button. As standard the main unit has the typical 2 wire switch, however instead of a wired switch it comes with a 2 aa battery powered receiver and a 2 aa powered switch that communicate wirelessly. The receiver is magnetic so that you can place it on the side closest to the switch.

To answer your question the opener is in vacation mode. Press and hold for 3 seconds the button on your wall control with the lock icon. The green light will stop flashing and you will be back in business.

your door travel screw is set to go too far on the downward travel. you need to set the down travel. It is set to go too far down. find the screw adjustment on the unit that says close and back off the screw a full turn until door stops short of floor. then start turning screw other way until door just touvhes floor.

Hi. The green light was flashing and ny transmitter in the car would no longer operate the door. On the back of the liftmaster, just below wker the small wires go in, there is a small, flat, green button. I pressed that with a stick and it solved the problem.
