Hello,I have Samsung TV UN40NU7100FXZA. It states 110 V AC, but when I opened it thee is an Power card BN44-00947A(it has a stamp pf 110-240 Ac 50-60 Hz). Can I use TV in 220 V Ac countries?

In most of the case the problem is the LED back lights. You may disconnect the cable between the power supply & main board, supply the AC to the TV, the back lights should light up, if not replace all of the LED back light strips,

DID you slam the card with PSU AC power cord hot, PC instandby that blows cards all illegall hot swapping cards and is bad to the bone. , learn to remove AC power first from AC wall jaCk to pc.
then wait 15 minues, now swap cards SAFE>
next is BIOS page VIDEO set it to PCI VIDEO
some old board that is done with no card first.
then AC puilled , 15 min latter add new card and now bios works using the new card, a goal to reach.\\

did no say card out old vga port works
do not hot swap anything inside any PC. ok. or bad will happen'
even smoke. let out;.

You need a stepdown transformer from 240 volts to 110 volts AC.
Make sure you get one that has the required wattage you require.

If you require a higher wattage, try an electrical wholesaler.

yes they are the same type of cords as for the specs that is statting what the internal power converter can safely use to power the devices in the appropriate modes to change the mode you need to pen the pannel and change the seitch position, the factory default is 110-117V AC, if by chance that it is set to the higher settings the only sighn would be that the fuse will keep blowing on the device or it will cut in and out.

Good day!! The 120-240 power simply means the supply of your TV can be plug in to 120 Volts AC to 240 Volts AC that will come out to your outlet.For example your outlet is 120 Volts AC you can plug in your TV in there.In short your TV supply is auto-volt.

What voltage is your mains supply?
The laptop's adapter should be a multi-voltage type 110 to 240 volts input.
If your mains is 110 volts AC then the 220 volt AC LCD projector won't work unless you connect it to a step up transformer (110 to 220 volt transformer).
If your mains supply is 220 or 240 volts then both the laptop and the LCD projector will work without any problems.

A lot of times it only pops the on board fuse, or if it has a transformer,  then it often simply "Blows" the Primary windings and not too much happens on the secondary, If it is a switchmode well then you probably will have to replace the entire thing.

You have basically 2 options available to you:

1) Contact Sharp at the address you listed and they will instuct you on what you need.

2) Purchase a power conversion transformer. This will convert the 240AC to 110 AC and you can use the standard 110 AC cord.
