Our handbook says E2 is a Motor Fault. We can heard a few clicks as if the motor is trying to switch. Does this mean the motor is goosed and needs replacing or might it it be a part within the motor that is faulty? Thanks

Dear Sir,
It's a thermistor error, the internal evaporator one... but disconnect the fridge and freezer ones first in turn to see if the error changes. If it is the internal one, you should see an arrow impression on the paper covering the insulation which marks the spot to dig(at the back of the freezer.) Usually this error occur when water ingresses the push on tags, shorting out the thermistor.
Now the bonus... 9 times out of 10, you don't need to buy a spare, as there will probably be nothing wrong with the error giving thermistor. Remove and fit the fridge thermistor in the place of the internal one... clean and dry the internal one you removed and refit it inside the fridge.
You will need to repair the insulation with two pack brown foam insulation and foil tape. deffinately this solution solves your problem. If you have any problem regarding this issue post comment more information about the problem.we will glad to assist you
good luck.
good luck

SOURCE: I have E3 error code on a Bosch washing machine
"E3" on a Bosch Maxx means the door is not closed properly. Either there something preventing it from closing properly (blockage) or there is a fault with the locking mechanism.
SOURCE: What does error code E2 mean? I have a Bosch Maxx
The e2 error is a generic error that the machine shows if it's been overloaded or if the load becomes unbalanced during a wash cycle.
to fix you must do a master reset of the washing machine.
1. Close the door and make sure the dial is pointing to the "OFF" function
2. Hold the Start/Pause button and turn the dial anti clockwise (to the left) to the "express 15 min" program at the same time.
3. Hold the Start/Pause button for a minute (the e2 message is meant to start flashing after a minute of holding the button down however with my washing machine this didn't happen)
4. Release the button and turn the dial back to the "Off" function.
5. Select any program and the message should not be appearing.
SOURCE: my grans hyundai getz 53 reg had an abs fault, i
hi from uk for your info there was a recall back in2004/5 for the getz relating to the abs system going faulty my wifes 2003 getz gsi was recalled and i took car to dealers for her to enquire what fault has there beenon some getz with abs system? as fault had not occured on ours ? apparently there had been a fault with the wire loom to pump particularly the earh cable deteriating ? so this loom had to be inspected and replaced under warranty however as i had waxoiled all underneath our getz including abs pump due to its location low down the loom was ok but was changed anyway and recorded and a dated sticker placed on cars glove compartment door inside to verify loom changed ? SO b4 you progress any further i would check with hyundai tech dept to whether you car had been inspected or whether slipped through unchecked ? your gran should have had a recall as we did for modified loom hope this helps?
SOURCE: Have a Bosch Maxx Classic
you would not be checking the pump to clear a motor error you would be checking both the motor and the motor control the pump controls the amount of water that leaves the unit and has a seperate function from the motor entirely two totally differnt systems if you have some electical ability you can disconnect the motor and do a bench test on the motor this will allow you to distinguish between which is causing your problem either the motor or the motor control by your testing and cleaning of the pump area you did nothing to alleviate the motor error and that is why the error code remains. If you have any further questions message me back I await your reply Thanks Rick
