They come just after the spring flowers and stay with us until their food sources dry up. This is nature's signal to them that it is time to move on to a different climate., (South for the winter.)
They go to the tree tops and to the feeders of compassionate friends until cooler nights, shorter days and the last fall flowers signal it is time to go. (The birds that stop by your feeders on these evenings, probably are clutching little suitcases with their tiny feet.) Time to care enough to let them go be with their friends

if you can check the soil ph around the two that are causing problems for you, its more than likley a cat or dog issue, adjust the soil ph and away you bloom

you can keep them in the book for a bit to flatten them. They will not dry very fast in there. after they are sufficently flattened take them out of the book to dry better.
