SOURCE: Fixing a clogged pump on GE Profile washer

waht u need to do is get a bucket now take the outlet hose and place it into it low to the ground if water comes out then it will be that your pump is faulty and needs replacing but if it doesnt the only way to do it is towels on the floor and with a low pan place this under the sump hose which should be in the middle of your drum which then leads to the pump pull slowly but not enough for the water to push the hose of do this until empty the only other way is to take it outside and pull the outlet hose of this is the quicker and dryiest out of them all but do do the first part to c if the pump is faulty m8

SOURCE: My bosch logixx 8 sensitive front load washer is

I have a Bosch Logixx was bought in April 2009 and I have had this problem several times, it seems like a button or coin can block the pump, you may need to try turn machine off and pull out plug, take the drainage hose out of the holder, remove sealing cap, allow detergent solution to flow out, put the closing cap back on hose, carefully unscrew the pupm cver, see if anythings stuck there, re-insert pump cover etc. I have had to call repairmen out 3 times ( pump blocked not covered under warranty) and had pump replaced, I WOULD NOT BUY BOSCH ever againa s there after care service is rubbish and I paid $1800 for this metal junk.

Bosch E13 error on washer - shows e-13 and door will not open.

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

E13 error in your Bosch WFMC washer is a drain error and is displayed when the drain time exceeds & the washer is unable to drain so the door won't open sometimes when this error is displayed. You will have to clean the drain trap in the bottom right hand corner. You can stick a straighten paper clip in the access panel located inside the front bottom panel through the whole and then turn the access panel counter clockwise to unscrew the plastic drain cap behind it. After everything is cleaned and the error returns then replacing the drain pump is recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

I have a vision 800 series laundry washer. I have a "check Pump" error. From what I have read I need to clean the pump filter. Also from what i have read I need to remove the bottom panel but...

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Our (older) Bosch has 2 visible plastic '90 degree turning' screws holding the bottom front panel on. On some others the screws are covered by plastic caps. If yours has neither of these it could be that the cover should simply 'unclipped' by pulling at the ends.
Good luck!

BOSCH WASHER DRYER E06 ERROR MESSAGE WILL NOT WORK OR DRAIN WATER ANY IDEAS HOW TO RESET TO FIX PROBLEM.

E 06 means slow or no drain//not a easy do it yourselfer machine//you will need to get to the pump might be plugged//for the do it yourself you can get to the back( but this won't be easy) most techs if they know the machine will take front of that takes pratice//anyhow take rear panal of you will see drain pump in there remove tub to pump hose most likely has some items inside//note some bosch washers have small pump drain hose to get water out before you remove pump hose/if it will drain do that first save alot of mess...........(((( check this first))) note some have round cover at lower bottom put pointy item in hole of cover turn to release ( it will turn hard) some also had cleanout behind that cover/ if so check pump from that location much easier then taking back of.....Hope this helped if it did please vote...if you need more help please ask ...good luck

Can you tell me where the emergency latch is to open the front door of my Bosch 500 Series washer?I have error code E:13

Hi, the emergency latch release is behind the small round panel below the main tub door. A string will be threaded through the pump housing and you just need to pull it to open the main door. To open the access door ( small round panel ) you'll require a small round needle shaped object or really narrow screwdriver. Put it in the small hole in the panel push in slightly and turn to about 6 o'clock...clockwise that is. The small round cover should now come off and expose the pump with the string going through a hook on the pump housing. Let me know how you make out and also if you require further assistance with this problem. Good luck. Macmarkus :)

Pump blocked. How do I clear the pump?

There should be a filter located at bottom front right of washer, probably behind a drop down cover, unscrew anti-clockwise to remove and clean..
Hope this helps.

I have a bosch WFR 2460 washer. Er:15 error code.

You need to check and clean pump filter, normally located behind a removeable plastic cover at bottom front of washer right hand side.
If no filter found there remove rear panel of washer, and clean pump from rear of washer.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

Washer keeps saying suds or blocked pump and stops

This is because you are using too much soap or the wrong kind of soap. HE soap should be used and only the measurement specified on the label. May also be due to lint and other debris in the pump filter. Open the panel and remove the filter screen from the drain line and clean it out. This has to be done often on front load machines.

Drain pump changing

The drain pump on Bosch washers is located in the behind the front panel instead of behind the back panel, in order to remove it you have to tilt the machine on its back panel and take off the front panel.
The malfunction happened in the evening (Peter principle), my wife was panicked, and I had to call a serviceman who changed the original pump (Akko) to a Maytag one.

How do you clean the drain in a bosch next 800 series washer?

Almost all Bosch machines have a manual drain trap that usually can be accessed from a small door in the front panel. Open the door and you will see the trap access.
