the 2 service manuals you need to refer to for this model and have uploaded them to our
site here and here to help you.
You will need the free Acrobat Reader to view or print them in case you don't have it.
The manuals have a safety info, disassembly info, troubleshooting chart, test procedures, part numbers, etc.
I would first suspect a bad thermistor, but it should be checked, as well as the line voltage at the outlet, etc.
The best place to order parts for this brand is Encompass (formerly Tritronics). Or you can call them toll-free at 866-779-5835.

Look in freezer and tell me if not defrosting. You will see a layer of frost building on rear wall. I will wait5 on your response to proceed, Sea Breeze

I would not buy a Sharp refrigerator. They make decent TVs, but I would be cautious purchasing a fridge. But something american like GE or Whirlpool. It's just my suggestion.
