Usb not working with data card

A common problem is forgetting to reset the USB ports after removing a device previously. Rt Click on the white tick icon (bottom right) and check all relevant USB ports have been cleared. I personally have had big problems with cheap SD cards due to bad contacts, which can be toothbrushed with Isopropyl Alcohol or similar. Another problem is that SOME older laptops/usb SD adapters have limits on the size of data cards you can use. Check manuals &/or try using a small capacity card to check.

My bios can not detect usb configuration why? my usb ports can not be Used?

If you already tried to clear the bios settings of your motherboard or change the bios settings but still the same. The best solution for you is to buy a pci (Peripheral Component Interconnect) card with usb port commonly with 4 usb ports. The pci card will install on your free pci slot on your motherboard and depends with your operating system if the card will plug and play or manually install using it's driver.

USB 2.0 on Intel D845PT Motherboard

HI,

Yes, that board is only a 1.1 USB port. USB 2.0 can easily be added to a computer using a USB 2.0 PCI card. These cards are relatively cheap and they can be found in almost any computer store. You can even find USB 2.0 PCI cards at Walmart. The cards will typically have 3 - 5 ports on them. These ports are setup so that you will have to plug your USB devices into the back of the computer.

Good Luck
