If you have a problem with a leak on pipes or in the general part of the system. First, you should find the leak where is it in the ice machine?
But how to find the leakage?
Follow the below introduction,
1- Preparing liquid detergent (which you use at the kitchen) with water in a plastic

SOURCE: no ice saved

your problem is slow production. this unit does not refrigerate the ice. the bin is but an insulated storage device so the ice is constantly melting away. the output should be somewhere around 50 lbs in 24 hours which is more than the capacity of the bin so it should fill up and shut down on a full bin within that period. unless of course it is on your back deck facing west in july! these machines are very finicky. many different things will affect production make sure you do the system clean trip at least every 6 months more often if you use alot of ice. also check the condensor coil every 90 days and vac it off if dusty. it is located at the front of the machine behind that panel at the bottom 4 1/4 inch cap screws to remove it it is tricky to get off and on because of the lower hinge but you can do it. many other things can slow down production.

For parts or free answers go to this link and enter your model number into the search feature. Model ZD115C That will take you to a page with pictures and part numbers. The home page you may call or email for answeres. I did see a control board and for some reason the cutter is not heating this will cause the problem. Thanks, Sea Breeze

SOURCE: My Whirlpool refrigirator suddenly stopped

Hello,
You can do this by yourself by the following the instructions below.
Take off the back panel in the freezer, Use a nut driver or ratchet and socket with an extension, Behind the frost is the evaporator and the defrost heaters. One heater in the middle and one at the bottom. They are glass. They are glass tubes, If you can see the bottom that is great, if not use a hair dryer and defrost only the very bottom to expose the lower heater only.
Now in the refrigerator section at the top where the controls are take off the long plastics piece to expose the timer. The timer should be on the right hand side and have a little circle that is slotted. Get a flat screwdriver and turn that timer slowly clockwise just until it clicks and refrigerator turn off. This will put it into defrost.
Now look at that heater that you exposed and see if it glows and get hot. if it does , then the timer is bad.
If the heater doesn't come on theb go ahead and defrost the rest of the evaporator with the hair dryer. This will take little while. Don't poke at the evaporator.
Once totally defrosted look At both heaters. They should look like clear glass and see a silvier coilrunning through them, if they look discoloured at all then heater aare bad.The heaters come as a complete assembly with the defrost thermostat which clips onto the evaporator.
If the heaters look okay the onlyway to know for sure if they are bad is to check continunity with a meteron the plug at the end of their wiring harness. If you can check that you can splie in a new defrost thermostat to solve the problem.
However the best thing to do is replace the heater and defrost thermostat. it is easy to install.
Following the below solution this will solve your problem.

Hoshizaki km151bah ice machine not making cubes. ice is coming out in one big sheet. Why?

The depth setting on the evaporator cube setting may be set too thick making the cubes stick together. Adjust it to make smaller cubes.

My ice maker makes ice but melts fast

All ice is the same...at or below 32FH is ice, above 32FH it's water
Perhaps your ice maker is making very small ice cubes that melt faster then bigger ice cubes, if so the your ice maker needs to be adjusted too make bigger ice cubes.

HI, we have the same problem with ours from time to time. It is a engineering flaw, bad design, the ice cubes are kept in the refrigerator section, which is about 38-40 degrees. So the ice cubes melt, the only way to keep it clear is to use ice cubes every day and not let then thaw and freeze.

Kenmore icemaker

It sounds like the icemaker is making hollow cubes , and the unfrozen water in the cubes , after dumping , freezes and causes the ice shells to stick togather . This is a sign of " not enough water going into the icemaker " . Replace the water inlet valve , behind the refrig , the piece the wall water line connects to , on the refrig .

Jenn-Air bottom freezer ice maker not working

I took the arm of the ice-making machine out of the slot and put it back in, pushing it snugly inside the slot, then raised and lowered it several times. Then, with the arm in the up (stop making ice) position, I felt inside the ice-making tray, where I noted there were ice cubes as well as a sheet of ice at the base of the ice-making tray. I poured approximately 24 oz. of hot tap water into the tray to melt the sheet of ice. I turned the freezer temp control to "warmer". I think the freezer temp setting was too cold, causing the ice maker to freeze the water before it could make cubes. I have a working ice maker again!
