I bought a Primo Bottom Load Water Cooler two days ago. The cold water button got stuck the first time we pushed it. We cannot get it to pop back up and so it will continually dispense water.

We have had to completely disconnect the water bottle to stop it from pouring water.

What brand have you bought? I am in the market for a bottom loading water cooler too. Just found some good reviews here https://www.avidwater.com/reviews/best-bottom-loading-water-dispenser/ . So keep you posted what I go for.

SOURCE: water coming back from radiator bottle

Hi Pete

This sounds like the problem could become very serious and engine damage may eventually occur . I am not a mechanic but had similar problems with my Fiat Uno a few days ago (eventually the head gasket blew) and the same scenario with the Nissan Sentra. First check the following: Does the temperature rise more than the normal mark under normal operating conditions? Is the radiator cap in order? When checking the oil dipstick is there any signs of water and oil mixing together? Lastly is there excessive steam coming from the exhaust system? If so, you could be looking at a failed head gasket. Hopefully this is not the case and there is only an airlock in the cooling system thus being solved by checking and fulling and topping up the radiator itself (if possible) with a mixture of water & antifreese whilst the vehicle is idling - and not like i did on the Sentra - by constantly filling up the coolant reservoir and the water "blows" past the cap ......hope this helps.

Good luck.

SOURCE: Water/Coolant pours out of engine as soon as I put it in.

It has popped the freeze plugs out and you won't know the extent of the damage it has made till you replace the freeze plugs. You never i mean never pour water into a vehicle around time for freezing weather

Wow this is awesome. I was getting so frustrated, but this completely fixed it....

We started getting a blinking light... indicating the jug needed replacement... after installing a full jug. The unit would cycle, then the red blinking light would come back on. Upon careful inspection of the feed tube and lines, it was realized that the plastic line on the intake of the pump body had been inadvertently pulled out just slightly (presumably from jostling the jug around during replacement). I believe that this breaks the seal the unit requires for suction, and caused the fault. I simply pushed the (white) plastic line back into pump body and heard an audible 'click'. Unit works fine now. I hope this helps, as these units are not exactly cheap.

Why won't the red blinking light go off on my primo water cooler?

If the cooler or the water are not getting cold I would check for a high pressure reset if they are getting cold the compressor would working fine, you could also try flushing it, is there a pattern to the flash that may indicate a code................good luck! mine has developed a leak and does not heat less that 6 mo old pretty disapointing.
