SOURCE: Aftermarket battery
what you can do is try buying an original battery or taking the phone to a samsung mobile store have them try one of their batteries in it and see if the same problem occurs, if it does then you know to buy original batteries....

I think your tryiong to charge NIMH batteries oon a charger designed for Lithium Ion batteries. With all the new style batteries such as NICAD, NIMH and LI-ION, charging becomes difficult. Most chargers pre NIMH and LI-ion, were designed for NICAD's. The best advise, match your batteries with the correct charger

Sounds like it is more between the charger and battery. Sounds like a newer model, Can you test it with an alternate battery? Chk the battery voltage and the charger output against the data plates.
SOURCE: drill stops unexpectedly
I have had 2 of the same drills with the exact same problem. The first one worked for about 10 minutes the first time I used it before it started cutting out. I took it back to Lowes and got bought a new one. The new drill does exactly the same thing. If I charge the battery it will work for a few minutes and then starts working only intermittently. I stuck in the second battery and get the same thing. I was just using it to take some screws out so I wasn't even puting a load on it and only got maybe 10 minutes before it started cutting out.
I would highly recommend staying away from the Hitachi Lithium drills. I will certainly never buy another one.
