Where is the startor relay at on a 06 pt cruise

Startor spins but wont ingauge its a new startor and also had it tested any ideas

If the starter spins when the key is turned to start the starter relay is good . Or do you mean the starter solenoid ? then again , if the starter spins ,the solenoid is good also. Do you know how a starter works ? Could be the bendix . Do you know what a bendix is ? If the bendix isn't kicking the pinion gear into the flywheel or flex plate , the bendix is bad . Or isn't the pinion gear contacting or meshing with the flywheel . Do you know how to check these thing's ,or could need to be shimmed .

the best advice i can give you is to purchase a haynes repair manual at your local auto store. it'll give you step by step instructions. $18 they are usually hard to get at, but there are 2 bolts holding the starter in place, after removing the wires, just remove bolts and wiggle out. no special tools required. make sure to disconnect battery first. good luck

My 2003 pt cruiser wont start

It sounds like you have no idea on how to test automotive electrical system's , just replace parts . Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop. There are no magical fixes , looking at wiring diagrams an testing electrical circuit's with a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter is the proper way to diagnose automotive electrical circuit's . Plus looking at the instrument cluster for warning light's , SECURITY system - anti-theft etc....Because these will keep the vehicle from starting . Hook up a professional type scanner to see if all the control modules on the vehicle will communicate with the tool . A shorted data bus wire , module etc... will also keep the vehicle from starting . Plus you don't discribe the problem correctly .Turning the key to start an nothing happening is a no-crank - no start condition , turning the key to start an the starter engages an spins the engine over - is a crank - no start .

2005 pt cruiser wont start, battery seems fine. could it be the key?

Anti-theft system light lit on the instrument cluster ? Do you know how to test automotive electrical circuit's using a wiring diagram an a DVOM - digital volt ohmmeter ? Won't start how ? When turning the key to start does the starter engage the engine an spin it around ? This is a crank - no - start condition . If it doesn't spin the engine around ,this is a no - crank - no start ?

The relay for the horn in this video works the same as you starter relay ,except the PCM - engine computer controls the starter motor relay .
