My bosch tassimo coffee machine lid is stuck it wont open

My tassimo lid won't open I put the milk pod in for a latte it made a noise and some milk spilt out and it won't open turned the machine off for a few days n the lid still won't open is it now broken ? As only had it for a few months

Hi The yellow disk is used when cleaning the coffee machine and the size for cups is usually on the tassimo pack at the back.
The "digital piece" is a bar code for the discs.Hope that helps? ps,

The seal is stuck because it might have coffee jammed in it. unplug it. Then push down on the lid and pull up at the same time. It opened once for me. I hope this helps.

Common problem with them. They are having issues with the lids locking and not unlocking.
They suggest you call 1-877-834-7271 customer service.
They've been having people return them.

I have a Tassimo. The machine reads a bar code on the coffee cartridge that you put in before pressing brew button. You open the dispenser lid, place a cartridge in with the printing facing down. If you notice, the label has a bar code on it. There is a small rectangular window on the machine that you can see when you open up the dispenser lid. Make sure that the window is clean. If there is debris covering it, the machine wont be able to read the bar code and therefore will not know how to dispense for the specific cartridge you put in.
As for the manual, I found one on the Bosch website to download.
