I have a receipe book which was handed down to me and all receipes are in Pounds and oz How do I convert it to kilos and grams.

2.2 pounds=1kilogram
so 10 kilos is 22 pounds
1 pound =454 grams
1 ounce is 28 and a bit grams

Weigh it is only way to be sure. A level tea spoon holds 5 grams by volume , divide into five heaps add 3 heaps to make one heap, you have 3 grams by volume . Rough but close.

Usually it will take 2 or 3 cans of 134a to charge a typical American car's or light truck's a/c system.

There are about 454 grams per lb. of matter and each can is about 12 oz. (not 16 oz. = 1 lb.).

3 cans would be 3 cans x 12 oz. = 36 oz. or about 2 lbs. 4 oz.

If you round down to 2 lbs., then the grams is about 454+454 which is about 900 grams rounded down.

You could find the grams per ounce and multiply by 36.

454 /16 = 28.375

and 28.375*36=1021 grams for 3 12 oz. cans of refrigerant.

28 g is an ounce. So 448 g per pound. Thus the 100g serving is 3.6 oz or 0.22 pounds.
