Pixma printer only wirelessly scans to one pc? Can't select a second?

Just got a Pixma TR8520. Set it up wirelessly to print w/PC first and it scans to it fine. Set it up wirelessly on my laptop. I can print to it, but I cannot scan from the printer to it. It only shows the PC to scan to. Please help!

    Did you install scanning software from printer manufacturer on all P.C's
    and are all P.C's got a workgroup name and are they the same as one p.c. that works ?

    Appreciate your getting back to me. I did manage to figure out it was "user error". I had to launch part of the program "Network Scanner Selector" to ensure I wanted my laptop to be selectable from the printer in order to scan a document to the second computer. If anything, perhaps my error can help others. Thanks again for this great community! This issue is now resolved.

Customer care support service number +1--833--[272]--0777,,__,,,,,call them__
There does not appear to be anything wrong with the cartridges (there shouldn't be - they're new), but the cartridges will not center when the cover is lifted. So I can no longer print anything, and I can't check the cartridges - help!
Any information anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. I'd hate to replace the printer, it's still in very good shape.

Is the error message Epson Scan cannot be started? What is the Operating System? Is the printer directly connected to your PC?

SOURCE: scan from printer through router to pc?

You will need to use the TWAIN software for the printer. From the computer you will be running the scan options thru the TWAIN software. Then the scan files will be pulled from the printer back to the computer. Running scan options directly from the printer will give you the option to print the scan files or send them to a memory card if your printer has a slot for one. If the scanning software is not installed on your computer then you will need to download it from the manufacturer's website.

This is not so much a solution, but I have a lexmark 5400 printer -and I am also having problems with "alignment." I just replaced the cartridges an now I am getting an error message saying: "Alignment problem, remove tape from cartridges, check paper and then press the check-mark button." There does not appear to be anything wrong with the cartridges (there shouldn't be - they're new), but the cartridges will not center when the cover is lifted. So I can no longer print anything, and I can't check the cartridges - help!
Any information anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. I'd hate to replace the printer, it's still in very good shape.

Follow the below steps:
Configure device:
• In your printer to select Network setup.

Install wireless device:

How do i install canon pixma mx320 series printer?
hello,

Remove all the printer settings, and swich off the printer.And restart your system. install the drivers with MX 320 CD. Once it ask you to switch on your printer, please switch on then the printer it automatically it will detect and it will finish this.This is the normal installation procedure .

Cannot locate canon wireless printer on computer
If you have loaded pixma print app. You need to go through wireless set up. The app will scan for wireless networks. The select the wireless you are operating and search for printer. When you start it the blue network light will flash until it finds . and start by holding power down 3seconds release it starts searching.

Why does my canon PIXMA 452 say pc not connected when I hit the start scan button
Hi, several things i would be asking
Do you get an error code?
Is the error on the PC or Printer?
Can you print?
How is the Printer connected USB or Wireless

the first is the error code will determine where the fault lies.. if in the 5000 range.. its a hardware problem and would need to be repaired by a service center or repairer.
if you get the printer error.. check the cable or wireless connections
if the PC error it could relate to software you are using to scan too, even if you acquire the correct twain driver (select source).. some are not compatible.. try the scan function in your Canon Utilities IJ Scan Utility. Scan it there first and save it as a PDF or image file.
if you can print its not a connection problem if you cannot print try another USB/printer cable Or make sure your device is setup for wireless run the installation software again and complete the wireless procedures in setup. I hope this helps.. or post me the error code and i can give you a definite answer.. Cheers!

Wondering what I need to print wirelessly from laptop with this printer
If you printer hasn't a built-in wireless connection and if you haven't a wireless router then -
You need a wireless router plus print server. Connect this print server to the wireless router with a LAN cable. Then the printer is then connected to the print server's printer port.
The laptop's wireless card is then configured with the router's wireless settings.
The laptop is then installed with the printer driver and the printer port needs to be changed/configured with the print server's IP address.
ALTERNATELY
If the printer is connected to a desktop computer on your home LAN and it is also connected to your wireless router. Then you can set this printer as A Shared Printer on your desktop computer, but this desktop computer and the printer has to be powered up for the laptop to print to the printer.

Printing wirelessly to a Canon MP600
1) you need it to print from a laptop if you do not want to have to set up another computer, and mobile phone have bluetooth buit in
2) YES
3) set up the printer on another computer, and set it for sharing. Then make sure that you laptop is recognized in the network connections wizard, then on the laptop select add new printer and select the bullett that say a network printer. the rest is pretty easy, select browse for a printer or something, it is the first option, select it, say yes to all dialogue boxes, and let the computer do the rest.
