There is an issue from the lid lock. Remove anything from the top of the washer. Press power to end any cycle. Wait for the washer to drain if needed. When the washer has drained, unplug the power to the washer. Wait for 2 minutes and then plug the power for the washer back in. This process will correct the issue with the lid lock. If this doesn't work, please call for assistance at 866-616-2644

SOURCE: How do I fix the nd problem with my amanda front loader washing machine?

the ND stands for no drain, it means the machine will not drain the water, and its saying something wrong with the pump, not necessarily. , if you can open the door and remove the cloths do so, then use a 5 gallon bucket of hot water and bleach and poor it in the door, if its already full of water it may not open, drain out all you can with a cup or can before filling it with hot water, try to go to a wash cycle, important the sensor in the machine may be coated with soap and by doing this it will clean it,run it a while to use a few cycles then try to spin and drain, it should straighten up, only use about a half inch of soap, in the washer most people use a half cup or whole and its to much, the sensor thinks it full of water, but there is no water to drain therefore, no drain, you can also remove two screws from the back panel and you will see the pump, it could be clogged with a dime or quarter, taking this hose or hoses loose will let the water out and on the floor, unplug first, you can remove the pump easily and check it three screws two hoses and its off, make sure its unplugged,Matt
