I bought a cook's essentials pressure cooker but it has no instructions. it's a 7L. with onlyone turn knob with the #'s 1 & 2 then a steam picture. it also has a lock button that's it. Can anyone help?

BTW, I noticed that the informercial and website says that you can pressure can in that pressure cooker. That is actually not safe to do, there are no USDA-approved pressure canning processing times for electric pressure cookers. Here is a comsumer alert with details:

Presssure valve to be turned off or on when using pressure cooker

pressure cooker cooks by the pressure inside the cooker.
So you need to put those on when cooking.
The excess pressure will automatically drain off.
