Do the molly screws go in the sheetrock before we put up the shower walls?
What molly bolts are you talking about. A molly or molly bolt, often misspelled moly,[1] is a formerly trademarked[2] name for a specialized screw fastener used with drywall, as a hollow-wall anchor. Larger sizes permit reasonably heavy objects, such as shelving, flat screen-TV mounts or central-heating radiators to be attached to drywall in locations where there is no stud behind the drywall. For heavy objects, multiple molly bolts may be required.
. You can use adhesive to glue to walls. The unit must be level and square. The corners in your home are not 90 degrees but close. Please don't drill any holes in unit., unless directed to.Holes in-walls are hard to seal. Let me know what unit number your shower is and I will help you.

I repair such fiberglass shower pan liners in the Philadelphia > NYC corridor. Generally, this fix should cost you between $150 and $500 depending on the size of the shower and how many people in your area do fiberglassing. I would strongly suggest having the entire shower basin re-fiberglassed as opposed to trying to patch the hole. However, a good fiberglasser should be able to fix this in a couple of hours for a few hundred bucks. If you are in our area, visit www.CFINJ.com and contact us. Brian
SOURCE: how do you install body jets for a shower
Hi mickgosney
I'm Harvey the Master Plumber
Your question is how to tighten up in the wall without putting a stud wall in for kyra body jets.
Kyra sells about fifteen models and they are all designed to be installed in a wall of some type.
The wall lends some very nessessary support to the valve body so that the whole thing dosen't move when the handle is adjusted. Wood stud, metal stud and concrete are typical structures. If you are trying to install on a free standing shower I recomend at least some kind of creative frame to support the valve.
Feel free to contact me again.

Most handheld showers use a hose to connect from the existing shower arm down to the hand held option. Some units come with attachment points on the shower arm, but I believe that you are looking for a unit that has a hook that you can mount where ever is comfortable for you.

There will be a nailing flange on the walls of your shower. Typically, drywall screws are used on this flange on the top portion and along outside edges spaced 6-8" apart. Use a high quality tub/shower caulk down the seams.
SOURCE: my moen shower valve didn't come with any
it is used for keeping the valve from coming thru the big hole when you tighten up the main cover,...it's to go on the back of the shower wall,..you don't have to use it if your valve is secured enough via pipe clamps and/or the like. good luck
