I personally get my parts on ebay. Sometimes amazon. You may also want to see if there are any local buy and sell sites. For example "Varagesale" Another really good site is in Yahoo Groups of your browser its called "freecycle" and "cheapcycle"
I have bought broken phones that are the same make and model and used parts to fix phones.......its cheaper and you have spare parts.
