Get a charcoal filter from home depot (about 50.00) and install behind refrig or in cabinet . Filter has replaceable cartridges like for charcoal , lime , calcium . Installs in supply line to refridg . Do not recommend the 11.00 filter installed in line , where you replace the whole filter . Get the replaceable cartridge type .

SOURCE: my wife is pregnant and

This is an extremely common side effect of pregnancy. During pregnancy you have a few reasons for this:
1) Increase in progesterone, decreases the contractility of smooth muscle. Smooth muscle is what makes up the bulk of your Gastrointestinal Tract. This decreased contractility will lead to nausea, constipation and sometimes cramping.
2) Increase in abdominal size will lead to pressure on the GI tract especially the stomache causing heart burn and slowed emptying of the stomache.

Good Luck! I hope this helped!

Pain in my left groin area, female, where leg meets groin, 24 hours now. Ok when lying down or sitting, hurts terribly when I walk age 53

Ask a relative or trusted friend to help you reach medical clinic or doctor's office.

https://www.healthline.com/health/pain-in-groin-area-female-left-side#seeing-a-doctor

When to see a doctor

See your doctor if:

home treatment doesn’t help resolve your symptoms

the pain gets any worse over time

the pain happens suddenly without any obvious cause

you can’t walk or move your lower body without intense pain

you experience changes in your menstrual cycle or you miss a period

you see any unusual discharge from your vaginna
You should seek emergency medical help if, along with your groin pain, you experience:

blood in your urinne

pain spreading to your chest, abdomen, or lower back
a fever

nausea or vomiting

Your doctor may use one or more of the following tests to help diagnose the cause:

physical examination, including feeling around the area
X-rays to see transparent images of tissue in the groin
ultrasounds to see real-time images of groin tissues

magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to see 3-D images of the groin area

The bottom line

Left-sided groin pain isn’t always something to worry about. Mild injuries or minor infections can be treated quickly and easily.

But sudden, intense, or chronic pain may indicate an underlying cause that needs medical treatment. See your doctor as soon as possible if your groin pain disrupts your daily life or can’t be treated at home.

What should the resting heart rate be for a male aged 53?

Depends on weigh and how active the individual is. A good resting heart rate would be in the range of 60 to 75. Generally, the lower the better, but not too low. Less than 60 is more uncommon and generally found in very active, fit people, or the person is on medication that lowers heart rate.

I have pain left upper. worse with eating. radiates to back.nauseau.feels like a small ball in the stomach.

The main symptom of pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas) is: abdominal pain felt in the upper left side or middle of the abdomen, which often radiates through to the back. The pain may become worse after eating or drinking, particularly if the food has a high fat content. But it could also be: stomach, liver, diaphragm, gallbladder, pancreas or intestines. For starters, if you drink alcohol: STOP. Avoid meals with high fat content. Try eating a low-fat diet, and use digestive enzyme pills which are available over the counter. The two main causes of pancreatitis are alcoholism and less often: a gallstone can block the pancreatic duct. Fasting can sometimes help because when you eat, the pancreas has to make digestive enzymes known as pancreatic juice and if you don't eat (but do be sure and drink plenty of healthy clear fluids) your pancreas can rest. Naturally, if the problem continues or worsens, go see your doctor. I hope this helps!

What causes pains in the stomach?

Abdominal pain is caused by inflammation (for example, appendicitis, diverticulitis, colitis), by stretching or distention of an organ (for example, obstruction of the intestine, blockage of a bile duct by gallstones, swelling of the liver with hepatitis), or by loss of the supply of blood to an organ (for example, ischemic colitis). To complicate matters, however, abdominal pain also can occur for unclear reasons without inflammation, distention, or loss of blood supply. An important example of this latter type of pain is the irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). These latter types of pain are often referred to as functional pain because no recognizable (visible) causes for the pain have been found.
