Yes, when the charging device is turned off and you plug in charger you get one red light and then a green blinking light while charging. When it stops blinking it is fully recharged.

SOURCE: Casio Ex-z77 Battery issue? Tried charging

Had the same problem and contacted Casio and they sent out a new battery. Our camera was in the last month of its Casio 1 year Warranty so I don't know what they will do if yours is out of warranty. They didn't give me any resistance at all so I guess it is something they know is a problem.

SOURCE: hi, I have new BB9700 and

Within the menu of the BlackBerry, one can set up the red, green and indeed blue led to do various functions, for instance, my BlackBerry used to have a green led on permanently to show that it was receiving data from the transmitters.
Select what function you require it to do. When you have sussed out how to adjust it, you may find it a usefull function.

Why does the light fladh green and then stay green even though there is no battery in it!?

If you can remove the battery, remove it.. Wait about 30 seconds+ Then place the battery back in and try charging it again. This is a solution that fixes quite a high percentage of battery related issues.
EVEN works with laptops. Hope this helps. So many other issues could be wrong with your phone or source of power.. Good luck.

I have constant red and green flashing lights on my charger

The red and green flashing lights on a Ryobi charger is a dead battery, or defective, won't charge. I hope that is what you are talking about.

Upon power up, 3 red LEDs flashing rapidly continously, no power.

The control systems on power mobility equipment have a "prevent" circuit that immobilizes the equipment while it is plugged into a charger, so folks won't take off with it plugged into the wall outlet. When you turn it on when plugged into a charger, the display will flash constantly, or sweep constantly, depending on the manufacturer. This is normal. Your off-board charger should have a red light to indicate power to the charger, and another light for the charge status. Yellowish means it is charging, when it turns green, you are fully charged. If the status light is green all the time, that is an indication that the charger is not functioning properly, or that the batteries are below a chargeable state. Check charger output, which should be 26-28 volts dc, and each battery should show at least a 12 volt reading, but around 13.5 volts with a full charge. If one or both of the batteries drops below 12 volts after a short period of time, it's time for a fresh pair. Fully charge new ones before using the chair.

No 'green' light on bacl of my 'old' Vivitar 285

Then I'd say it's a reasonably sure thing that the green light is just burned out, The lights are supposed to be off at first, then red when there's a partial charge, then green when there's a full charge, then flashing between red and green when the "battery saver" kicks in. If you're seeing off, then red, then off, then flashing red, then that means everything in the charging circuit is working perfectly, there's just no green light.
