1. locate where you want the switch (such as inside the RV or on a stake that can be placed near the shower enclosure)
2. If the pump runs on 120 volts make sure the location of the switch is not going to get wet or it may be your last shower ever. If the pump is 120 volts (house current) it may be safer to run an extension cord to the pump and just plug the pump in from the inside of the RV when you take a shower.
3. If the bilge pump is 12 volts just get an on/off toggle and run wires from the toggle switch to the battery and then the red (positive) wire on the pump.

its the water solenoid valve stuck in the open position so when the shower is turned off the shower stays running

hi did you run a seperate cold water supply from the storage tank to the shower pump & also a seperate hot supply from the hot water cylinder, it sounds as though the cold water is crossing into the hot service & pushing its way up to the tank as its the only way it can go, sounds as though the cold water connection to the shower is not tank fed & possibly directly off the water main.?

You run your hot wire to the switch (brown) and black wire to the pump (+ve connection). Then from the pump run another wire to the negative terminal of your battery. I used to use a toggle switch on mine, but I do not use a starter motor, still all the lights, radio and echo sounder are connected to it (via a junction box). The only item I fuse is my echo sounder.

Sounds like it is no longer automatic, essentially you need to replace the unit.
SOURCE: can i run a toggle switch to fuel pump
I wouldnt recommend doing that. Get a wiring diagram of the fuel system and backtrack from the pump. Check fuses and the fuel pump relay for activation first
