The thermostat allows power to flow through to the compressor, evaporator fan and condenser fan. If the cooling system fans and compressor are running, but the refrigerator or freezer is not cooling correctly check for an airflow or defrost system problem.
in other words is there ice frozen all inside if so unplug and take a hair dryer and melt the ice thouroghly

SOURCE: Digital display is blank in GE Profile fridge
Hi. Its either a bad motherboard or control board. I would check the control board for any obvious signs of damage to the board first. I've seen the control board go blank on the GE side by side and it turned out to be the motherboard. The motherboard is located behind a cover on the back of your refrigerator cabinet. You should have a new motherboard on hand at all times because they fail alot. Be sure to put a surge protector on your refrigerator. Good Luck, Mack

I am experiencing the same problem with my GE fridge. We have already tried the Turbo Cool, but nothing seems to help.
Thanks

SOURCE: GE French Door handle loose
To tighten the screw the first step is to remove the handle. With this model just pull straight up on the handle. It can take a little force but after it finally unclips it moves up an inch or two then pulls straight out. Good luck!
SOURCE: GE Profile PSC25 won't cool past 45 degrees
With that model that is a sign that defrost is not happening on time or the beginning of the problem. Temperatures in fresh food compartment above 38 are not safe. Look into the back of the freezer compartment and let me know if you see a frost line buildup. If yes it would be a good idea to manually defrost the freezer so you can remove the rear panel and check the defrost heater and defrost thermostat. It's also important that with this model that the problem be resolved quickly. I can help you if you want. The defrost heater will be easy to see if burned out because it has a glass tube around the heating element. If you replace the defrost heater you should also change the defrost thermostat. Fan motors going bad on that refrigerator seem to always damage the control board and if the board is replaced the the fan motor should also. Let me know if you want me to help you, Thanks, Sea Breeze
SOURCE: there is a loud knocking noise from inside or the
This is normal. It is the actuators adjusting the temperature between the freezer and the fridge.
