I think your talking about 6ya, where someone can get help using the "get instant help" green icon at the top right of most pages, there is a charge for that service, fixya is free, ask a question in the ask question area and someone may help you with your issue, not all questions are answered however
Fixya site doesn't cost anything and all advice is free from volunteers
It does however require some thought on your part to take the information provided to a repair shop and discuss the answers with them
we aswer questions and do not store anything so upload to fixya site is a waste ot your data money

What is before the Bad Checksum error? is it something like this:
**** Bad RTC battery ****
**** Bad Checksum (CMOS) ****
Check system, then press [F1] key
If there is a mention of Battery then you just need to replace the battery.
I have seen this error before for faulty memory or hard disk.

just see on mother board there you see nearabout 16 pins on right hand bottem of mother board
there you have an integation of connectorfrom right hand corner i.e 1-3 for reset sw, 2-4 for power sw and last switches for front usb and audio
if you have p-3 then you dont attech audio and usb cables on *********** board
