I have the same problem. Can't believe I can't find the shoe, but the tripod is worthless without it. If you get an answer, please email it to [email protected]. I'd GREATLY appreciate it!

SOURCE: I bought a used camera tripod that does not fit my camera
Your tripod is a K-Mart brand item and it will fit any camera but it's clearly missing the quick-release foot which most tripods have these days. This part screws to the bottom of the camera and enables the camera to be quickly attached and removed from the tripod.
Unfortunately there is no standard foot shared between manufacturers and most tripod manufacturers don't even have a standard design foot which fits all models in their range.
You can still order a replacement foot from:-

But at US$18.99 it may be cheaper to buy a new tripod!
I hope that you appreciate the time which I've taken to research and answer your question and ask only that you return the favour by rating my answer.

Use a hot-shoe mounted spirit level.

A Pist*l-grip tripod is frequently unable to support heavy equipment, as it relies on a spring-loaded friction plate to retain position. Swapping the head for a traditional variety might improve things.
We used to use sand bags hung from the inside apex of the tripod to compensate for too heavy equipment. Depends what you hangit from.
