Hi, first , pour about 2/3 cup of water into the ice maker . If if freezes
, and dumps , replace the water valve. If it does
not dump the cubes , replace the ice maker. After
pouring the water into the ice maker , remove the bottom kick panel ,
and clean the bottom coils , of dust , lint , pet hair , etc , as this
will raise the freezer temp . An ice maker has to be 5 degrees , to
operate , correctly . If ice maker starts working , after cleaning the
coils , GREAT ! ( it does happen ) .
Pour about 2/3 cup of water into icemaker ( if there is no cubes in there now ) . If the icemaker dumps the cubes when frozen , replace the water valve . If it doesn't dump , replace the icemaker . Also make sure the coils at the bottom of refrig in front , are clean of dust , lint , pet hair , etc . Also check the plastic hose inside the freezer , to the icemaker , to make sure it is not frozen . If it is , replace the water valve , due to slow drip leak .
Pour about 1/2 cup of water into icemaker . If it dumps the cubes after freezing , but doesn't refill with water , then replace the water inlet valve ( part that wall water line connects to on fridge ). If the icemaker does not dump and holds the frozen cubes , replace the icemaker . Also check the fill tube at the icemaker to make sure it is not frozen closed , due to a seeping water valve , and make sure the coils are clean beneath refrig of dust , lint , pet hair , etc.
Pour about 1/2 cup of water into icemaker ( unless ice is already there ) . If the icemaker dumps the cubes , then the water valve is bad . If it doesn't dump , and holds the frozen cubes , replace the icemaker . Also check your coils to make sure they are clean from dust , lint , etc . Check the fill tube going to the icemaker , to make sure it isn't frozen with ice . If it is , then watervalve is still bad (leaking ) .
Pour about 1/2 cup of water into icemaker . If it dumps the cubes but does not fill with water , replace the water valve ( the part that the line from the wall connects to on the fridge ) . If the icemaker does not dump the cubes , replace the icemaker . Be sure the coils are clean of dust , lint , etc... as this will not let the freezer get cold enough for the icemaker to dump .
Pour about 1/2 cup of water into ice maker . If it dumps , replace the water valve . If doesn't dump , replace the ice maker . Also make sure the coils are clean of dust , lint , etc...
Pour about 1/2 cup of water into the icemaker . If it dumps then water valve is the problem . If not , then icemaker is the problem . Make sure the laser switch on r/side of freezer is on . and the coils at the bottom of fridge are clean ( icemaker must be 5 degrees to operate ).
If this is your water dispenser leaking Your water inlet valve on the back where the
water supply comes in is probably leaking. disconnect the water line coming out
of it and see if you have a slow drip. Try the dispenser to see if it's just
drips after use.
