Yes there is its usually under hood clipped to brace for steering wheel. Mostly on right side if sitting on tractor.

I have googled LT155 and came upon john deere LT155 lawn tractor(noncurrent). It took me to John Deere's site. I put in your model number and it had several catagories. I would try the alphabetical list, go to B and look for traction belt.

Besides the drive belt, there is a timing belt inside the mowing deck. The left blade is run by the timing belt. I imagine the timing belt is broken.
