That sounds like a voice command problem for this Chicago, Illinois based channel. Refer to the station by its number on your subscription package, like "Alexa channel 1105 on tv".

Open the Amazon Video PIN section under Parental Controls.

Enter a 4-digit number to set up your PIN. Select Reset your PIN to change your current PIN.

Select Save.

Go to Amazon Prime on your Samsung TV.
It will give you a code.
Go to Amazon Prime at the address given with the code.
Enter the code.
It will tell you your TV is now registered.
You can now watch Amazon Prime Videos and Movies on your Samsung TV

When you set up the Amazon Prime account, they will send you the code..no code is the same

Download the Amazon app to access Prime.

This function will block out the picture and sound of the selected channel or video input.
It can also be used to keep the TV from being viewed for a scheduled time period that you set.
The code to enter the Locks feature is a four digit secret code number. The factory preset code is 0000.
Use the number buttons to select access code.

Use CURSOR G or H to highlight function and then press the SELECT button.
To change the access code number, select Change Access Code. Enter a new four digit key number you prefer.
Select CHANGE ACCESS CODE to change factory preset code (0000) to your preference.
When ENGAGE LOCK is selected, SET CHANNEL LOCK, SET INPUT LOCK, and SET FRONT PANEL LOCK can be set individually.
When SET CHANNEL LOCK is turned on, the picture and sound for the chosen channel will be blocked out.

only), DAILY (TV will time out every day), WEEKLY - SUN~WEEKLY - MON (TV will time out one time a week) or OFF (to disable
this function).
When MOVIE RATINGS is selected, you can block various types of movies and video tapes based on motion picture ratings. Picturein-

If you forget your secret code, use the factory code 7777 to erase your key number. This will reset the secret code number back to the

Sounds like the unit is bad, or set to the wrong Regional Code. Its not easy to set the regional code and it varies by model. You are better off buying a new DVD player given they can be found for under $30.
