SOURCE: water leaking onto floor

Angels, sounds like your defrost drain is frozen over. When the refrigerator is going into defrost it's draining through the front instead of the drain pan. You can remove the shelves and peel off the back cover and clear the drain by pouring hot water on the frozen drain hole. If you have a baster of some sort you could try to squirt the hot water through the venting on the bottom of the panel. Another way to to point a hair dryer on the drain hole. The best method is to remove the shelves and panel and make sure the drain is clear. Catriver..post back.

SOURCE: water leaking onto floor

unplug it again , sounds like your drain line has frozen, instaead of defrost water going down the tube and under refrig in drain pan, becuse tube is frozen its draining into freezer compartment and eventually spilling out through front of unit. totally defrost unit and behind back wall of freezer youll see a metal trough designed to catch water, in the center (under the ice is gonna be the drain hole, pour boiling water down until it runs freely

SOURCE: frigidaire refrigerator with ice maker leaks water

It sounds like your ice maker is leaking.
If you are able, try opening up the ice maker for a visual inspection.
just remember to unplug first.
Apparently there is a leak somewhere.
Sometimes ice makers will over flow if the float gets stuck or a connection has come loose.
If you cannot work on it yourself, then I suggest looking up a service technician on the Fixya website.

SOURCE: Ice build up on bottom of freezer. Water leaks out.

Your problem is possibly one of two things. The ice maker is leaking or the defrost tray behind the rear panel inside freezer back wall is clogged with ice or something else. If you know its not the ice maker unplug the refrigerator and remove the back panel to see if the drain is blocked there, Let me know, Sea Breeze

SOURCE: Leaking water and ice build-up in freezer

There's a drain hole in the freezer side behind the bottom drawer in the back wall that must be clogh ; put hot water into it untill melted the ice and keep pouring water to clean the drain (don't worry , the water goes to an evaporative tray) .Keep the drain clean by putting every 3/4 months half a cup of clorox or bleach.

I have a Kitchen Aid refrigerator and would like to know where the drain pan is the model #KSRT25CRWH01 I am experiencing water on the floor in front of the refrigerator

There is a drain pan under evaporator coils that funnels defrosted water into drain pan underneath unit that holds it until it evaporates. The reason you are seeing water on floor is most likely because defrost drain underneath evaporator coils is stopped up. Water can't get out through drain so it ponds in bottom of freezer and eventually out the door.

My kitchen aid refrigerator won't stop buzzing

If everything is cooling right, take the front grille off at the bottom of the fridge and move the plastic drip tray. It might be touching the motor or pipe, causing the noise.

Condensation water build up inside refrigerator

The tray underneath your fridge is probably clogged, and overflowing. There is an evap tray underneath, and if it does not get adequate airflow, it will overflow, and leak out.

Clean the bottom front vents, and underneath the fridge to ensure adequate airflow.

The ice maker on the kitchen aid refrigerator is not producing any ice.

Check the cut-off/ overflow bar, its the little rod that lifts up as the tray fills. It normally does not become stuck but has a catch n hold position when moved up to a certain point. This allows you to stop ice flow and water from filling the ice maker tray for maintenance, cleaning and keeps ice from building up and getting stale and bad tasting. If you have an in line water filter or cut-off valve, these may need to be replaced and checked to see if they are functioning. Check the water supply line that runs from a source to the refrigerator to be sure it is not clogged, kinked or compressed. The ice tray may also have to be pushed "back" into the slot so that a safety/shutoff latch is triggered which controls the water/power to the ice-maker unit. A good idea to unplug fridge/freezer when checking water line connections and be sure to know where your main water supply shut-off valve is, this small supply line will put a gallon of water on your floor in less than 3 min! Good luck.

Water leaking

the bottom tray/salad compartment will always get a fair amount of condensation because they are glossy plastic(bathroom paint is matt)the only "cure" is kitchen towel under the tray and remove once a week.as for the drain it is normally at the back and does collect a fair amount of "moss"in the tube, pour some clorine bleach down to clear any out.the design of the shelves directs the side/back condensation down the drain.

Water leaking onto floor from refrigerator/freezer

The defrost drain is stopped up. Without taking anything apart, the easiest way to clear the drain is to blow compressed air through the drain tube which is at the back of the Fridge. You'll see it..... it drains water into the drip pan. Hope this helps !
