Two methods of possible use:
1) The "Fit the Page" option in printing reduces text to literally fit the size of the selected paper size.
2) Some printing software has the ability to print several pages upon one sheet of paper. MS Word's zoom feature also has this ability:

It is also possible to reduce the page size of PDF documents.
These methods exclude what is build into some printers such as Lexmark All in One Center which have an option to reduce page size by a percentage. Commercial copiers often have the ability to reduce the size of images being copied.
Scan a copy to pc documents , save to word , use photo shop and reduce in size
print page and then re-scan
