The washing was working fine and during a wash my daughter came along and pressed the buttons on the front of the machine whilst it was operating. Now the machine has stopped working. The drum will not spin no matter what programme is selected. The water etc is fine and it does drain. The problem is the drum will not spin.
Very much the same issue. Water flows in at the beginning of the programme, there is a click and the drum fails to spin. Can also drain the water out successfully...Very much the same issue. Not sure if this helps to pinpoint the fault. When I put it on spin, the timer starts at 11 minutes then when it goes down to 10 minutes, it goes straight to 1 minute and the machine stops. Not sure if this helps to pinpoint the fault. I have a WFA206Q front loader. the number doesn't appear on many US web pages, since we got it in Mexico. It's still there, and one repairman had it for a few months and didn't fix it. Washer fills, motor hums, and never spins. the belt is still in. Any thoughts... looks like it might be the motor.

We have exactly the same problem. Have been advised to clean the impeller - but it doesn't appear to come out.

Disconnect your washer's plug for 5 minutes or more from the wall socket. Plug in.
Press "end of cycle" button for over 5 seconds, the child lock comes off. Press it again and the child lock comes on................
If this does not work, try the pre-wash button likewise.

Does the drum wobble quite a bit or does it look normal? If it's wobbling it could be the drum casing knocking the internal structure. Might need a new drum spring if this is the case
Does it sound like the motor is spinning?
I'm thinking it could just be a coincidence and the drive belt may have snapped or fallen off.

These buttons are not on this model.
