Dometic ac with atwood 1h2c thermostat will not come back on

Dometic ac with atwood hydroflame 1h2c digital thermostat. The unit cools good until it reaches the desired temp and shuts off automatically , or you turn it off and then the thermostat turns off, no led read out, and you cannot turn it back on. (It',s like the thermostat has no power) The last time this happened we went without ac for 2 days, then we took the rv approx. 200 miles, plugged the rv's power in and the ac unit came back on. It has a solar charger on the ac unit. Not sure if this is relevant.

Just a guess, as I am not familiar with the solar assist, if the stat is wall mounted I would remove it and verify if there is wither standard batteries, or a "watch" style battery. hope this helps

Dometic rm7732 not cooling

Hi,

If the refrigerator isn't cool, you need to answer some questions, then see if the compressor is running.

First, answer these questions:

  • Is the refrigerator completely dead? If so, see “It's stopped completely.”

  • Is the thermostat knob turned to the proper setting? If not, reset it.

Next, see if the compressor motor is running

The compressor is a football-sized case with no apparent moving parts. It's on the outside of the refrigerator at the back near the bottom. If it is humming or making a continuous noise and your refrigerator is still not cooling, there may be a more serious problem with one or more of several different components, we recommend contacting a qualified appliance repair technician for further help.

If the compressor is not running but you do have power to the refrigerator, there may be a problem with one or more of these:

  • The compressor

  • The Thermostat

  • The overload, relay, or capacitor

  • The defrost timer

  • The condenser fan motor

I have a Dometic a/c with a digital thermostat. When I have it on cool the compressor will cut off when the proper temp is reached but the fan continues to run and won't shut down unless I turn off.

It could be could be several things depending on what type of AC it is. is it a window unit, or a split system. Could be a bad thermostat or thermostat wire or bad board or a safety or wired wong.

Duo Therm Thermostat anticipator adjustment

replace your thermostat with a cheap digital heat/cool thermostat - no more problem. (be sure to turn off the power to all parts of the HVAC system before changing the thermostat.)

ATWOOD MOBILE FURNACE RUNS WHEN IT WANTS/

Check your furnace for power. will be 4 wires. power ground and 2 thermostat wires. Check for power at the time delay relay, if you have power there check for power going in the fan motor, if power in motor wire, motor is bad. If no power in motor wire and power going to circuit board take the 2 thermostat wire apart and wrap the 2 together comimg from the thermostat. Fan will stat in about 30 seconds. If it does you need a control kit in the ac. But sounds to me like you have a furnace problem.
