Panasonic NR-B30FX1-XE The freezer from re power. Minus 21 is reached, temperature starts going alarm at minus 12.Fridge ok. Replaced one capacitor near IC transistor Fc sensor,Fan.

Panasonic NR-B30FX1-XE The freezer gets cold from start up My next theory as to what is happening is. The Sensors all checked and the air damper position checked. The inverter board has two motor start capacitors large grey squared to the left of the inverter circuit board. With a temperature gun I pointed it at these components and one was hotter than the other. These are start capacitors to help the compressor motor start also suppressors of noise. So when the temperature has dropped the temp at minus 21 this has the effect of putting more load on the motor. The motor is asked to start and does not This is my theory of what is wrong and awaiting parts to change and re test. David

My fridge/freezer Panasonic BN34FW1B, the pad not working. Freezer at -19 & fridge looks like 8 3 & items are freezing up & cans blowing but I can't change temperature?

Question edited for clarity and maker.

Minus 19 for the freezer is good. It should be minus 18. Not sure what you mean by the fridge is '8 3', it can't be 83'C, 8' is too warm., and 3' is too cold. 4'C - 5'C is perfect. See if the Child Lock is Set.

Sub-zero refer.611/s is working fine but the freezer compressor has been running 24/7 for the last 2 weeks. Sometimes the freezer drops from it's setting of zero to 16-. Coils are clean and fan works.

I think it isn't fine because if a fridge/freezer that is otherwise healthy runs continuously (due to a thermostat fault), it would be colder than you could imagine with lower than arctic temperatures in the freezer compartment, minus 30-40 C for example.

The conclusion must be your fridge isn't fine.
Proper freezer temperature, incidentally, is minus 25-27 C for food to have a reasonable lifespan with minimal deterioration. There is no benefit from being colder but significantly warmer would mean the freezer contents should be replaced much more often - the freezer compartment of an old fashioned fridge (about minus 5) was reckoned to give fish, meat and dairy up to one month safe lifespan.

A fridge that runs continuously (where the thermostat is good) could have a refrigerant loss resulting in a huge drop in efficiency, the insulation could be failing, the compressor could be failing or the de-icing panel could be permanently switched on - or any combination of these things.

I note you say the coils are clean. If the refrigeration system is good with the compressor running continuously the coils will be hand-hot.

Hi, my refrigerator Panasonic NR-B320T non stop running, both vegetable and freezer sections are GETTING FREEZED even though the temperature are set at 1 (cold not at 3, the coldest).

check your user hand book as most fridge settings work the lower the number the colder the setting
so 1 is around 1-3 degrees , 3 is 4-6 degrees, 4 is 7-10 degrees
it is the freezer that works 1 is minus 5 and 5 is minus 20 degrees
it would explain why everything is freezing up
it would also explain the non stop running as the fridge is battling to keep the low setting

Bosch freezer icing up

ice in the freezer is normally from the door being opened continuously and moist air being drawn in each time
or the door needs adjusting so that the seal is in contact all the way around it
freezer settings work opposite to fridge setting so 1 is minus 0-5 degrees, 2 is minus 5-10 and so on
try a default setting of 2 or three to start with
freezers are meant to store item until ready for use and are not meant to be opened all the time like a fridge door so it may require a change of habit in the freezer use.
another point
upright freezers are very bad in operation when compared to chest freezers because every time the door is opened , all of the cold air falls out onto the floor ( you can see it as a fog on some days )and that sucks in warm moist air into the unit which is where the ice is coming from

When replaceing the highvoltage control board be careful to not handle it too much as nano voltages can burn it. Unplug before repair. Simply hook it up the way you unhooked it very easy and in the left back of the fridge. Now that it's installed plug fridge in and push back to wall. Look at model tag and write down your code something like 0304 most likely. Go to digital control hold down door alarm and freezer - minus button for 3sec. then let off door alarm now you should see PE flashing the fridge wants personality code (the one you have wrote down). Let off minus now it should show 0000 now push minus once more a decimal should show up 0.000 the decimal indicates what number your about to change. Move the decimal with freezer plus button and lower or higher number setting with fridge side buttons.Once your done hold down freezer minus till the numbers are flashing then open any door and close. Now the fridge should be working properly.Hope I helped
