Like much of what I have just read, my unit is now heating instead of cooling. Both sides are holding in the 60 to 65 degree range. And of course, it is one month after the warranty ran out. I bought it in June/2008 and it is now July/2009. When the unit was three months old, I had to have a service person come out and fix a problem where defrosted water was filling up inside it. I am going to call Home Depot tomorrow and see what they say now that I know I am not alone. I used to use a $99 Danby refrigerator to cool my wine and beer. It worked perfect for years and I later gave it to my son. What a mistake getting rid of it and buying this piece of ****.

All cooler have a condensor and it does need to clean out from time to time , when the cooler doesn't work -doesn't cool- this is the first thing to look for clean it and see how it goes, it is a normal maintainance to keep the cooler working . God Bless and have a nice day

Look in your yellow pages for someone who does commercial refrigeration repair. Don't expect them to do the repair under warranty, tell them you're willing to pay for the repair.

I returned our unit to Home Depot with relative ease... I think they were all aware there is a problem with these units.
They refunded the full purchase price (even though I was well past the 12-month warranty period). I put the money toward a GE Profile unit that's a little bigger - more expensive, yes; but it works, priceless!

Sorry to break it to y'all, but Everstar went out of business (probably bankrupt). There's nothing filing a lawsuit would do now.
